These terms apply to the use of Bushido Business (“the app”), published by Gear Studio. Gear Studio is not a company: it is the name under which one individual makes apps as a hobby, in their free time. Using the app means accepting these terms. The terms of the store the app was downloaded from (App Store or Google Play) also apply.
Use of the app
The app is free. Players receive a personal, non-transferable right to use it for their own learning. Copying, reselling, reverse engineering or misusing the app, and attempting to access other players’ data, are not allowed.
Accounts
The app can be used as a guest or with an Apple or Google account. Each player is responsible for the activity on their account. Suspected misuse of an account can be reported by email.
Respect between players
Display names are visible to friends and in the ranking. Names that are offensive, hateful, sexual or that impersonate someone are not allowed. Accounts that break this rule, or that cheat in the ranking, may be renamed or removed.
Learning content
The lessons are written with care, but the app is a learning tool, not professional or linguistic advice. All lessons, texts, images and the Bushido Business name belong to Gear Studio.
Availability
The app is a free hobby project made by one person. Its availability, updates and absence of errors cannot be guaranteed. The app or any feature may be changed, paused or stopped at any time, with or without notice.
Liability
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranty of any kind, express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gear Studio is not liable for any damage or loss of any kind resulting from the use of the app or from being unable to use it. This includes, for example, loss of data or progress, errors or omissions in the learning content, interruptions, bugs, and the consequences of any decision made based on the app, at work or elsewhere.
If any liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount paid for the app, which is zero.
Some laws do not allow these exclusions. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law grants and that cannot be waived.
End of use
Players can stop using the app and delete their account at any time from Settings. An account that seriously breaks these terms may be suspended.
Privacy
The handling of personal data is described in the privacy policy.
Changes
Any update to these terms changes the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means accepting the new terms.
